Thailand has several airlines – full service and low cost – competing on a large network of domestic routes. All of those listed here also fly regional international routes. THAI Smile, Nok Air and Air Asia are budget airlines, Thai Airways provides full service and Bangkok Airways is somewhere in between. Conference participants from outside of Bangkok are recommended to arrive Bangkok one day prior to the conference as well as depart Bangkok the day after the conference.

Local Transportation

Bangkok has probably the most diverse modes of transportation, ranging from motorcycle taxi to the family sized taxi, from underground to sky train. But traffic jams in Bangkok cannot be underestimated. Therefore, we advise you to allow some extra time to commute from one place to another.
