Ross Burkhart
Professor, Department of Political Science, Boise State University, Boise, Idaho, United States
Topic: Social Sciences and Society in the 21st Century
Ross Burkhart is a Professor of Political Science at Boise State University. His Ph.D. in Political Science is from the University of Iowa. His research focuses on cross-national democratization, political culture, and election forecasting. He has published in the American Political Science Review, Journal of Politics, European Journal of Political Research, Social Science Quarterly, Social Science Journal, Studies in Comparative International Development, and The Blue Review, among others. His book Turmoil in American Public Policy: Science, Democracy, and the Environment is published by Praeger Press. He is Politics Editor of Social Sciences & Humanities Open, and is on the editorial boards of the Journal of Political Marketing and the Journal of Political Science and Public Opinion.
